Created using my body, with radial movements inspired by the traditional technique of Puerto Rican Sol Lace.

There’s an importance of returning to the center, thinking of our inner and outer worlds, in silence. In it I explore themes of ritual, time, cycles, transformation, slowing down, connection, and sacred space. 

The piece is accompanied by short videos that share the intimate experience of slow and conscious creation, a book-object that documents the creation process, and samples of materials.
