From April-November 2014 I developed and created a 9′ meditation space for my installation a s p a c e t o s i t w i t h. This project was about the meditative opportunity that slow work provides.

 A sacred space to sit with the work, the ingredients, yourself. A space for reflection and grounding.

To honor the intention and celebrate the magical process of creation, I documented my making-journey through images, videos, notes, and sounds. Each day has one or more photos, a count of beans stitched, and hours spent. All of this material now lives virtually at www.aspacetositwith.tumblr.com.

For the gallery installation, a selection of images was printed and its corresponding hand-written note/information was placed underneath.
