It is truly an honor and quite moving to be supported in my home country.

“A piece that dives deep into the shifting tides of tourism and water borders. Approaching the fraught, fluid relationship between place and visitors, between leisure and labor, Pastrana explores tropical identities and the troubling parallels between colonialism and choreography. A dance-state with a definite volume but no fixed shape, liquid uses performance to examine the politics of water and bodies.”
Explore the ‘liquid’ state between leisure & labor, places & visitors, and colonialism & choreography at DoublePlus this week.Don’t miss new works by nibia pastrana santiago and DYNASTY HANDBAG in an evening curated by Jennifer Monson. Tickets → bit.ly/1KltlM4
